Now it is time to make big things. One must use computer aided system both to design and produce the objet. I decided to make a baby bed for this exercise.
I cut 18mm and 5 mm thick MDF boards by making use of shopbot machine. But first I prepared the design of the bed through sketch and then with computer software such as rhinoceros. The following pictures and descriptions will show how I went about the assignment.

I made different sketches before I decided to make the baby bed. The baby bed will have plat form for laying a mattress and a pillow, drawers and LED lighted display of galaxy picture on an acrylic material engraved by laser cutter. Most of the challenges on this exercise arise from press fit technique where one would like to make the object put together without glue or other connecting components. Therefor one needs to make a precise cutting method in order to put the elements of the project together
